This mango variety is grown in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and as the name suggests, it has royal origins and was the fruit of choice for the royalty. The imam is medium in size, with a green/yellow colour and its unattractive appearance hides a jewel of the mango family. An intense sweet aroma and sweet and sour blended taste are the characteristics of this juicy table fruit for the connoisseurs who can appreciate and enjoy the unique flavour.
