AAMRAI Malda Langra Mangoes

The Malda Langra or dudhiya malda mango is from Digha, patna region in Bihar and is one of the best mango varieties from India. It is grown in Bihar, parts of West Bengal and even Bangladesh. The flesh is almost completely non fibrous and the pulp has a delicious sweet sour flavour. The texture of the flesh is very smooth and creamy, almost milky, hence the belief that this mango is washed in milk while growing. The skin is very thin and fruit retains a greenish tinge while ripening. 

It is well known in the Northern and Eastern parts of India but not that well known in other parts. It is ideal as a table fruit or for making chutneys and jams. 

Our standard box has a minimum fruit weight of 2.5 kgs. A 15-20% weight loss may occur due to moisture loss while ripening.
